‘Mamie Eisenhower with Fine China in White House’

07 May 1959, Washington, DC, USA — New Additions. Washington: Mrs. Mamie Eisenhower poses in the China Room of the White House Tuesday with new additions to the china collection. The two new additions are from President Hoover’s and Taft’s tenure at the Executive Mansion. The china, all personal family specimens, are: (left panel top row) “Mason’s Patent Ironstone China from England,” owned by President Taft; (center panel, two top rows) “Spode, Copelands Chins, England,” owned by President Coolidge; (third row, center panel) “Copenhagen China,” (fourth row) “Wedgewood,” both owned by President Hoover.
