I’ve long wanted to do a piece on all the Cold War Soviet dogs that went up to space, then all the Ike and JFK dogs….culminating with their “marriage” – knowing dogs often are bred at only two years old, I suppose there are about 100 generations of dogs since the US-Soviet puppies. I wonder if anyone could possibly follow up and figure out some descendants….though exponentially I suppose the descent would be truly negligible since all beings have 4 grands, 8 great-grands, etc. Imagine how many ancestors going back 100 generations would mean….”)
